Mission Statement  Mission Statement

The purpose of Tri-City Christian School is to assist Christian parents in performing their Scriptural responsibility to “train up a child in the way he should go” and “bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord” (Proverbs 22:6, Ephesians 6:4). We exist as an extension of the Christian home. We present each subject area in the light of principles from the Word of God, giving a biblical worldview. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge” (Proverbs 1:7).
Our goal is to produce Christ-likeness in every student. To accomplish this purpose we want to provide conditions whereby boys and girls can receive the truth of God’s Word and develop Christ-like attitudes and actions. Jesus instructed His disciples in John 8:32, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Not only is it our objective to teach the truth, but also to teach our students how to apply the truth wisely to their own lives. In John 16:13 we are promised that “when He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth.” Our Christian school has the responsibility to provide the best possible education. We desire to minister to the needs of the whole child and to promote his spiritual and moral growth, academic and intellectual progress, and physical and social development toward the goal of Christ-likeness.
Tri-City Christian School seeks to form a partnership with parents to cultivate Christ-like young people spiritually, academically, physically, and socially.

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” ―Luke 2:52

 Goals

Since Tri-City Christian School’s goal is Christ-likeness, there are four areas we seek to help parents develop in their young people.

Spiritually— “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly” ―Colossians 3:16
To lead each child to a personal acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior
To enrich the child's devotional life
To awaken a realization that God has a purpose and plan for each life
To develop the ability to find answers from the Scriptures on his own
To give knowledge, love, and understanding of the Bible
To instill a sense of responsibility for the lost that will lead to effective witnessing

Mentally— “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” ―Philippians 2:5
To impart a command of common knowledge and skills
To discover and develop individual aptitudes
To cultivate analytical thinking and a priority-directed life

Socially— “None of us liveth to himself” ―Romans. 14:7
To instill a loyalty to Jesus Christ in all things and at all times
To develop an understanding of the student’s place and obligations within the family
To help the child share his Christian responsibility as a citizen
To awaken and foster missionary responsibility toward all men

Physically— “Present your bodies a living sacrifice...unto God” ―Romans 12:1
To develop a respect for the body as the temple of the Holy Spirit
To teach intelligent care of the body
To encourage the yielding of the body as an instrument for God’s use

 Doctrinal Statement

1. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God in all parts and wholly without error.
2. We believe in the one true God, who is the first person of the Trinity; perfect, infinite, and eternal. He is revealed to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity, the eternal Word and only begotten Son. He became man by the miracle of the virgin birth; true God and true Man.
4. We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity; that He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment.
5. We believe that all men, by nature and choice, are sinful and lost; that man is the direct creation of God, made in His image and likeness.
6. We believe salvation is by grace through faith and is a free gift of God, neither merited nor secured by any virtue or work of man; received only by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
7. We believe in the second coming of Christ and that His coming, which is our blessed hope, is always imminent.
