Life Science (7th Grade)

Life Science seeks to integrate a Christian worldview into the minds of the students in the areas of creation, cells, plants, animals, and the human body. These topics will help students to study and analyze their surroundings so that they may better understand the function and purpose that God has for them.

Earth Science (8th Grade)

Earth Science covers the aspect of God's handiwork through creation of both the earth and space. Topics such as the planets, stars, and sun, other special features, land masses, atmosphere, and their variations will be covered. These topics will be discussed, so that the students are helped to better understand and eventually analyze the world around them in order that they may be equipped to defend their Christian worldview.

Physical Science (9th Grade)

First semester presents a philosophy of science, emphasizing the study of creation is a God-ordained task. First semester continues with a survey of chemistry, from the nature of matter through an understanding of how the orderliness of creation, as expressed in natural laws and the periodic table of the elements, enhances both scientific study and technological application. Second semester provides a survey of physics, including energy, mechanics, work and simple machines, heat, light, electricity, and magnetism. Throughout the two semesters, lab applications and class work balance the memorization of facts and the understanding of principles.

Biology (10th Grade)

Biology is designed as a college prep course. Attention to time management and study skills are imperative for a successful year. Topics include elements, lab-technique, metric, various life systems, various laws, molecular to organism studies, genetics, and organic chemistry. Biblical integration, application, comprehension, analysis, and synthesis of biological concepts will be expected in order to successfully complete the course.

Chemistry (11th Grade)

Chemistry is designed as a college prep course. Topics include elements, lab-technique, metrics, reactions, various laws, acids, bases, and organic chemistry. Biblical integration, application, comprehension, analysis, and synthesis of concepts of chemistry will be expected in order to successfully complete the course. As a college prep course, attention must be given to time management and study skills in order to have a successful year.

Anatomy and Physiology (Elective, 12th Grade)

Anatomy and Physiology is recommended especially for those students going into medicine. This course is an introductory study of the structure and function of the human body and is presented from an organ systems approach. Each unit explores the wonder, beauty, and complexity of creation of the human body. Labs (with dissection) are included.

Physics Elective, 12th Grade)

Physics begins with a study of measurement and related mathematics. It then surveys laws of motion, force, and the conservation of energy and matter, vibration and waves, heat, electricity, and light.
