Recommended Reading List

Recommended Reading List: All texts listed are approved by Miss Lawson and do not need to be checked before reading. This list is by not exhaustive; feel free to find books that fit your personality. Please note that I have also attached a list of books that are not approved reading at TCCS.

Infomercial Oral Book Report

Click Here to view the handout relaying the information for the Junior High Infomercial Oral Book Report. Each student is to select and read a book originally written prior to 1963 with at least 150 pages. All books must be checked my Miss Lawson (even if they are on the approved reading list) to ensure that each student is reading a different book. More information to follow!

Having trouble finding a book? Click Here to view the Newbery Medal winners (select "Newbery Medal Winners, 1922-present" in the left-hand column to see a concise list of titles). While most of these books will be approved, please understand Miss Lawson may not approve some texts due to content or reading level.
