Death of the son of Steve Cole, '80 Pray one for another Steve Cole, 1980, has asked us to inform you, his TC alumni family, of the death of his son, J.D. Cole. J.D. passed away of Tuesday of this week (Sept 15, 2009). He was 23 years old. The funeral will be held on Sunday at their church, First Bible Baptist of Blue Springs. In lieu of flowers they are suggesting that contributions be made to their church for the upcoming Guatemala Mission Trip. I am currently in Ringgold, Louisiana where I am an office assistant at Southland Christian Camp. I graduated from PCC in 2007 with Office Systems as my Major. current happenings in the Griffin household I currently reside in Dublin, Texas where I work at a feed mill and as a computer consultant with the Paradigm Accelerated School, part of the Dublin Independent school district. I run a small computer repair/building business from my home as well. I have nearly completed a degree from a local school, and will be transferring to Tarelton State University to finish up. I have been married for 2 years this coming July, and we have 1 child so far. Alijah Marie Griffin was born June 8 2007, a healthy 6lbs 8 oz. Kara my wife, is a stay at home mom, with the hope of home schooling our daughter. In the future, we hope to open a christian school, so we can reach students for Jesus like Tri City does. In this area, there is 1 christian school for the surrounding 4 towns of dublin, comanche, stephenville, and DeLeon. There is a deep need for christian education here in central texas. As to ministry, I recently resigned a youth pastor position at Gateway Baptist Church in comanche. In

Alumni Update I am currently in Northern Virginia teaching and coaching at Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy. I teach 10-12th grade math as well as PE for all the girls in the school (K-5 through 12th grade). I also coach girls volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Last year was a very successful year, both the girls basketball and soccer teams won the VA state championship. I love my ministry here in NOVA! Submitted By: Christan Reynolds
