The Crusaders lost to a solid North County team to start the tournament. Most of the game was played in light rain. Leanne made some good saves. In the second game, the Crusaders played Tower Grove of St. Louis, losing 2-1.

The girls continue play on Friday, playing at 10 am and 4 pm. Soccer tournament is still on original schedule.

After a late start due to the game prior to Tri-City's beginning with a rain delay, the Crusaders game out to a great start with good pitching from Kai. Sprinkles of rain began to fall as the Crusaders took the field. TC scored 2 runs in the first innning and added 1 run in the third with 1 out and bases loaded when the game was called due to heavy rain.

The second game was postponed. Friday game times will be at Noon and 4 pm.
