We exist as an extension of the Christian home. We present each subject area in the light of principles from the Word of God, giving a biblical worldview. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge” (Proverbs 1:7).

Tower Grove took an early 1-0 lead on a Tri-City own-goal (23rd minute) and held on the remainder of the 80 minutes to take the open match of teh 2008 State Tournament. The Crusaders created multiple second half scoring opportunities, but were unable to equalize. Even with the loss, however, Tri-City still looks to have a strong finish to the season.
  Volleyball
Crusaders showed up ready the first game of pool play against Tower Grove and ended it 25-13 but weren't able to take both as Tower Grove answered back with a 19-25 win. Later in the evening, TC played a recent rival, Blue Ridge. The Crusaders were not able to bring out their best game, so Blue Ridge took both games of the pool match, 16-25. TC still has a chance to enter bracket play to change their results from today. They know God is teaching them many things through the unwanted ending of the first day of the tournament.

MCSAA Daily Journal - Friday's Schedule

Soccer: Crusaders vs St. Louis at 10:00 am, Dover Soccer Fields

TC-8, St. Louis Academy-2
  Volleyball
With Thursday behind them, the TC Crusaders entered Friday with renewed spirits and fresh minds. TC began their morning playing St. Louis Christian, and was able to secure two wins of the pool play.
Just a few hours later, TC had to play a team they had not seen all season. North County and TC entered the match tied in pool play. Finding a good place in the bracket depended on how well TC played against North County. The Crusaders came together and pulled out two wins to place themselves second in their pool and ready to play one more match for the night against Grandview Christian.
Tri-City was tired, but excited at the same time. It was a high level of school spirit that helped TC come back from a 16-23 deficit to win the first game, 25-23. Still adjusting to a different gym, TC was able to secure a trip to the semi-final round with a 25-21 win. The adrenaline was definitely pumping and the glory was given straight to God.
Praise the Lord for the increase of play throughout the season that has shown itself quite evident in this tournament.

MCSAA Daily Journal - Teams Leave for Joplin

The Varsity Soccer and Volleyball teams will head out for Joplin on Thursday, October 25 at 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. respectively.
